Population weighted density and inflated cities
The US is a huge country, there is plenty of room for 1 Billion Americans. The biggest impediment is not economic or resources…it’s cultural.
In a world where fertility is falling, why would it be necessary to pack 1 billion people into the US?
I'm not really claiming that it's necessary, just that it's feasible by scaling current metropolitan areas a bit.
