Yeah we're going to give 5x a try for now! Injecting past the BBB is beyond our capabilities and risk tolerance though.

I found your finding that sleep deprivation doesn't make you dumber very interesting, in contrast to your generally negative subjective feelings after sleep deprivation. Any idea on why there is a gap between these two measures?

The responsible answer would be to say that we simply don't have enough data yet! It could be that sleep deprivation does make us dumber, but there is enough noise that we can't see it in this data.

The less responsible answer: I suspect that people don't have a good sense of their productivity and intelligence. They might feel bad one day but are perfectly productive.
